The mission of the 幼儿教育工作者 program is to prepare professionals through study and practical experience to enhance the lives and education of children and families, and to promote change in early childhood education emphasizing a focus on respect for diversity, community, and advocacy for the industry。

The 幼儿教育工作者应用科学副学士 at Collin College is accredited by the Commission on the 认证 of Early Childhood Higher Education Programs of the National Association for the Education of Young Children。目前的认证期限为2017年3月至2025年5月。

This program offers equivalent courses for the Child Development Associate (CDA) National Credential by The Council for Professional Recognition。 If awarded, the following PLA opportunities can be applied to the Certificate Level 1 - Child Development Associate (CDA) and/or the 应用科学副学士 - 幼儿教育工作者 (0-8 Years)。

• CDEC 1317 - Child Development Associate Training I
• CDEC 2322 - Child Development Associate Training II
• CDEC 2324 - Child Development Associate Training III
