• Collin College has had sustained growth over its 40-year history, but the last eight years have been remarkable. Now serving approximately 60,000 credit and continuing education students annually and maintaining a reputation for academic excellence, it offers an unmatched combination of award-winning programs and state-of-the-art facilities.
• Collin College has the lowest tuition in the state, and the third-lowest tax-rate.

• Most significantly, the college successfully pursued a level change from an associate degree-granting institution to a baccalaureate degree-granting institution, offering Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cybersecurity, Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management degrees, and a new Bachelor of Applied Science in Clinical Operations Management.
• Collin College’s seven-year Master and Strategic Plans for 2023-2030 are underway. The college’s Master Plan is a comprehensive plan for facilities and programming. The Strategic Plan includes objectives and stretch goals for future initiatives.
• The college holds the distinction of being named a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) from the National Security Agency (NSA) through 2027.
• The college also received validation from the NSA for its program in Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems Cybersecurity through 2027.
