The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) is a Washington, D.C.-based advocacy organization with no responsibility for personnel matters at Collin College. The college continues to effectively manage its annual contract renewal process in faithful accordance with the policies adopted by its locally-elected 校董会. Since Collin College does not offer tenure, the college notes that none of the professors referenced by AAUP hold any tenure position at the college and that the employment contracts signed by each of them does not grant or create any contractual obligation of continued employment, a property interest, claim or other guaranteed entitlement beyond the last day of the Term of this Contract. The college has no further comment on these ongoing personnel matters.
