occupation awaits you. Collin College's program utilizes the 国家建设教育与研究中心 curriculum. Students completing the electrical program will have the option to take
the State of Texas Residential Wireman exam and will earn up to 414 on-the-job hours
towards their State of Texas Journeyman's and Master's licensure requirements.

- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and National Electrical Code
- Terminate conductors to circuit breakers, switches, receptacles, lighting fixtures and other electrical devices.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using ohmmeters, voltmeters, or megohmmeter
- Inspect electrical systems or equipment to identify hazards, defects, or compliance with codes
