Associate of Arts Degree with Dance Emphasis

The Collin College Dance Department is a place for all movers to study, connect, engage, and explore dance. We support the beginning and the experienced dancer through courses in modern, jazz, ballet, and tap in addition to performance, improvisation, choreography, and dance appreciation. Whether you are dancing for personal enrichment or pursuing an Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis in dance, we offer a variety of classes with affordable tuition.

The Associate of Arts degree provides general academic courses and electives that enable students who intend to major in dance to transfer to a college or university. Because of various transfer requirements of different colleges and universities, and to ensure enrollment in appropriate courses, students should consult with a Collin College advisor, dance faculty, and the transfer institution.
