项目的目的

The 好邻居奖学金 (GNS) Program is designed to encourage academically talented students from the countries of the Western (American) hemisphere (other than Cuba 和 the U.S.) to pursue higher education in the State of Texas.

Be a native-born citizen 和 current resident of a nation of the Western Hemisphere other than Cuba or the United States;

The 好邻居奖学金 provides an exemption from the payment of tuition (not fees) for 12 months beginning with the Fall Semester following selection as a scholarship recipient. 一年的学费（秋季、春季和夏季）。 This is an exemption program for which the state does not reimburse institutions. Institutions that submit recommendation forms do so with the underst和ing that they will exempt selected students from the payment of tuition.

Recommendations for awards will be processed 和 submitted to the Coordinating Board by the participating institution. The deadline for Collin College to submit to the Coordinating Board for the 2025-2026 academic year is March 15.
