The 好邻居奖学金 (GNS) Program is designed to encourage academically talented students from the countries of the Western (American) hemisphere (other than Cuba and the U.S.) to pursue higher education in the State of Texas.

谁可以申请？

• Be a native-born citizen and current resident of a nation of the Western Hemisphere other than Cuba or the United States;

The 好邻居奖学金 provides an exemption from the payment of tuition (not fees) for 12 months beginning with the Fall Semester following selection as a scholarship recipient. One year of tuition (Fall, Spring, and Summer). This is an exemption program for which the state does not reimburse institutions. Institutions that submit recommendation forms do so with the understanding that they will exempt selected students from the payment of tuition.

For the 2026-2027 year, complete the application provided in the link below no later than 2026年2月27日.

Recommendations for awards will be processed and submitted to the Coordinating Board by the participating institution. The deadline for Collin College to submit to the Coordinating Board for the 2026-2027 academic year is March 15.
