Form I-9
Each new Collin College employee is required to complete the Form I-9 to document his/her identity and employment authorization.- Part one of Form I-9 will be sent to you via Workday as part of your onboarding documents, and you will submit this electronically.
- For part two of the I-9, employees must present original, unexpired documents that meet I-9 requirements.

We offer a remote I-9 verification process with our campus I-9 approvers. In order to complete part two remotely, you will first need to make an appointment with the campus I-9 approver on your respective campus and then email them an unexpired, legible, color copy of your identification in PDF format from the List of Acceptable Documents found on the USCIS website. The campus I-9 approver will provide you with further details regarding the virtual verification appointment and process.
For the convenience of new employees, authorized approvers are located at each campus to assist with I-9 completion, by appointment only. Please contact an approver to schedule an appointment. Alternatively, you can complete your I-9 verification at the Collin Higher Education Center (CHEC)* without an appointment.
