• All student employees must maintain satisfactory academic progress with a minimum overall 平均绩点 of 2.0 at Collin College.

• Student employees (including 工作研究 and CougarWorks interns) must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
• Exceptions: Non-工作研究 students in their final semester may be eligible with fewer than 6 hours if they are graduating.
• 工作研究 students must remain enrolled in at least 6 credit hours—no exceptions allowed.
• International students must maintain 12 credit hours, unless it is their final semester or they have prior approval from the International Student Office.
• 学生 enrolled in fewer than 6 credit hours (under approved exceptions) may be subject to Medicare and a part-time employment retirement plan.

• Returning student employees who worked during the Spring may continue working through Maymester and June 30 without 6 credit hours, but will be taxed accordingly. To work in Fall, they must be enrolled in 6+ credit hours by July 1.

• Intern students will be assigned a mentor in the Collin College department who will help facilitate skills, knowledge, and abilities development.

• Same rules and regulations must be met in regard to 工作研究 and International 学生.

• Must remain enrolled in 6 or more hours, unless it is the student's graduating semester and/or approval is obtained.
