Back to Newsroom Debbie Gomez, a recent Collin College graduate, said the Computer Networking program set her up for success, landing her  a job in the field right after graduation.

Debbie Gomez, a recent Collin College graduate, said the Computer Networking program set her up for success, landing her

“I started in Cybersecurity, but as I progressed in my studies, I realized I truly loved the technical aspects of computer networking,” Gomez said. “I decided to make a big change and switch my major to Computer Networking. Through the program, I gained foundational knowledge and the opportunity to create a club that empowers other students.

“The college’s growth in CCNA Certifications and the chance to meet industry leaders solidified my decision. Now, working as a network analyst at Citibank, I’m grateful for the journey and the chance to give back.”
