Join Collin College for a showing of and discussion about the movie 搏击俱乐部 at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at the McKinney Campus Conference Center. The screening and subsequent panel discussion are free and open to the public.

Adapted from a Chuck Palahniuk novel, this 1999 David Fincher cult classic film about the founding of an underground fight club ring has divided audiences. The film epitomizes this year’s Auteur Film Series theme of “Film Adaptation: From Page to Screen” and its selection of works that made the transition from books to the big screen.

The Auteur Film Series presents classic, foreign, and independent films with brief educational introductions before the screenings and faculty-led panel discussions afterward. The film series is designed to challenge the viewer’s intellect and encourage conversations that engage students in civil discourse.
