Join Collin College for a showing of and discussion about 'It’s a Wonderful Life' at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Frisco Campus Conference Center. The screening and subsequent panel discussion are free and open to the public.

《生活多美好 follows George Bailey, played by actor James Stewart, a man on the brink of despair who is shown by an angel what life would be like without him. The heartwarming fantasy drama explores themes of hope, community, and the impact of one’s life on others. Following this year’s Auteur Film Series theme of “Allegories of the Cave,” this film delves into the interconnectedness of human lives and their profound significance.

The Auteur Film Series presents classic, foreign, and independent films with brief educational introductions before the screenings and faculty-led panel discussions afterward. The film series is designed to challenge the viewer’s intellect and encourage conversations that engage students in civil discourse.
