NOTICE TO POTENTIAL STUDENTS - Each of our clinical facilities have requirements that must be met in order to be allowed to gain entry to the facility and to participate in clinical experiences. Most of the requirements are standardized between healthcare organizations. However, some have specific requirements related to patient population. In order to meet program outcomes and complete your clinical experience you must comply with the clinical agency requirements. If you choose to not comply with the agency's requirements, we cannot guarantee completion of the nursing program.

Vocational Nursing

Licensed vocational nurses work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), nurse practitioner (NP), physician, physician's assistant, or dentist.

Public Notice of Upcoming Accreditation Review Visit by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing

Collin College wishes to announce that it will host a virtual visit for the continued accreditation of its Associate Degree Nursing Program and the RN to BSN Program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

You are invited to meet with the site team and share your comments about the program virtually at a meeting scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 (Join the Meeting).
