Workforce programs focus on specific marketable skills designed to prepare you for a rewarding career. In many cases, workforce program certificates are stackable, meaning you can earn one or more certificates while also earning credits toward an associate degree in that field.

The Workforce Programs Fair will feature information on various Plano-based programs including Interpreter Training Program, Banking and Financial Services, Biotechnology, Business Management, Commercial Music, Commercial Photography, Communication Design, Computer Networking, Computer Systems, Early Childhood Educator, Human Resources, Health Professions, Marketing, Medical Assisting, and more.

The in-person fair from 1-3 p.m. on March 27 in the Plano Campus Atrium provides visitors with an opportunity to discuss programs in-depth with professors and sample a variety of educational options. The 17 virtual open houses offered on the evenings of March 31-April 4 are focused on individual programs and will feature professors or other content experts. All sessions, including the in-person fair, are free and open to the public.
