CE Courses Available

Not sure if welding is for you and want to try it out without the rigid time commitment of a full-time program? The Continuing Education (CE) non-credited Welding I and II classes are also an option.

The Welding program operates on a cohort model. A cohort is a structured class time and schedule where you will begin your classes in your first semester in a group with other students and progress together as a team through the program. To develop a good welding skill set, you must participate as a full-time student and complete all designated courses within a semester.

Class times for fall and spring semesters:

  • Morning: Monday-Thursday, 7-11:50 a.m.
  • Afternoon: Monday-Thursday, 1-5:50 p.m.
  • Evening: Monday-Thursday, 6-10:50 p.m.
  • Weekend: Saturday-Sunday, 7 a.m.-4:50 p.m.

Class time for the summer semester:

  • Morning/Afternoon: Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-3:50 p.m.

All Welding courses are held at the Collin College Technical Campus – 2550 Bending Branch Way, Allen, TX 75013.
