概述
The Collin College 美学家程序 is an entry-level, noncredit certificate designed to prepare students for state licensure. Students will gain the skills, knowledge, and hands-on training needed to pursue careers as Facial Esthetics and Skincare Specialists.
Training includes skin analysis, product advising, specialized facials, and both manual and chemical exfoliation—procedures aimed at improving skin health and appearance. Completers will gain the expertise to work in settings such as cosmetic and medical spas, laser centers, dermatology clinics, and skincare facilities.
The program consists of 750 state-required classroom and lab hours, completed in Collin’s on-site aesthetic lab. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to take the state-regulated written and practical exams in Facial Esthetics through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and will receive an Aesthetics certificate of completion from Collin College.

需要统一: Black Scrubs, closed-toe shoes, spa tunic (details regarding how to purchase the tunic will be provided upon acceptance)
需要接种疫苗: The 82nd Texas Legislature approved Senate Bill 1107, which requires bacterial meningitis vaccinations for all students entering college who are under 22 years of age. Students under 22 years of age will have to show proof of vaccination before the beginning of classes.
需要许可证: Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) Student Permit (The TDLR student permit will be added to the first course in the series.)
